The repetition of patterns emulates the indefinite reiteration of habits that anticipate the habitat. They establish a specific system of signs that display a particular comprehension of such a habitat. The pattern manifests, metaphorically, the creation of a habit that anticipates a practiced place that is inhabitable and measurable.

The repetitive act of memory manifests itself as identical, with the absorption of difference. While the place is specified through its re-territorialization, it dilutes the differentiation through this indefinite repetition of similarity, which is increasingly universalized - Laura F. Gibellini, A Place, Constructed  (2011)
